No. The menu arrives inside the page itself, so it shows up at the same moment as everything else: no visible loading, no late pop-in, no layout jump. The app ships under 30 KB of CSS and JavaScript combined, loads nothing from external servers and sends no request until a visitor interacts. Your navigation links are plain HTML, readable by search engines.
Yes. Uno is a theme app block that you add to your header from the theme editor, which works with every Online Store 2.0 theme. On older themes the block is not added automatically and you add it yourself from the block picker. The app walks you through both cases.
No. The menu is rendered on Shopify's servers together with your page, in the same request. There is no external app server in the path, no JavaScript framework and no flash of unstyled menu while something loads. The assets are one small stylesheet and one small script.
The menu follows, on the next page view. Product cards read live data from your store: current price, sale price struck through, price ranges across variants, sold out states and per-market currency conversion. Nothing is copied, so nothing goes stale.
Yes, right after activation your theme's original menu is still there. You hide it with a small CSS snippet that the app gives you, with the exact path showing where to paste it. It takes about a minute.

Clicks, add-to-carts and sales, counted per menu element: entries, tabs, links, product cards. When an order contains an item added to the cart from the menu, the sale and its amount (discounts deducted) are credited to that element. No personal data is stored, only anonymous counters. Numbers older than 90 days are erased. Counting runs on every plan from day one, so when you upgrade to Studio your history is already there.
